Five New Log Housekeeping Cabins!!!

We are a quiet resort with no jet skis or snowmobiles.  come and enjoy the solitude of the northwoods year round. 

We have 5 new log housekeeping cabins on lake-level grounds and close to water's edge. Blankets and sheets provided. Each cabin is fully equipped for housekeeping. Each cabin has satellite TV with full programing.

A new 14' aluminum boat is provided with each cabin. Picnic tables & Weber grills are provided for your use. Each cabin has its own pier with electriciy at each pier for charging equipment.

The Lodge is open to the public.  We carry a complete line of groceries, cleaning aids, dairy products, frozen meats, frozen treats, bagged ice, etc. We also have a full line of beer and wine carry outs. Michigan fishing & hunting licenses, fishing and hunters' supplies, gas & oil for boats. We also have all types of live bait.

We are located close the Sylvania Wilderness Area for beautiful Cross County Skiing and Snowshoeing.   No snowmobiles or jet skies.  Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful Northwoods! 

Forty miles of cross-country ski trails weave through the immediate area.  Twenty miles of these trails are groomed by the local ski touring center in cooperation with the Ottawa National Forest. Motorized grooming is not permitted in the Sylvania Wilderness, but skiers alone keep these trails tracked.  Peace and solitude are the result.  Skiers throughout the midwest are attracted to these natural wilderness trails.

The Ottawa National Forest is host to a variety of cross-country skiing opportunities. There are over 90 miles of ski trails located throughout the area with over half of the miles groomed. Trails range in difficulty from beginner to expert.

Picture yourself on a snowshoe adventure breaking trail in the peaceful, serene woods. Snowshoers do not require trails and have the freedom to travel anywhere.
